Hmm on the one hand Mamdani seems to be the promising NYC mayor in a while, on the other it drives me up the wall when people say he completely balanced the budget. Deferring pension payment? Likely necessary but not really balancing anything Pressuring the state to give funds to fill in the gap? Good but also not balancing
