My biggest “conspiracy” theory is that i believe in 3-5 years it is going to come out how much chatter online in 2023-2026 is large LLM companies running influence campaigns.
This includes the extreme anti AI people, extremely pro AI people, and the clown car amount of people everyday saying “AI wasnt useful to me until THIS MODEL”

@AwoogaGeneral@mastodo.neoliber.al I imagine human writing on the internet is already dwarfed by LLM written content and eventually many people will end up in a situation where 9/10 “people” they interact with online will be bots. If we thought polarization and misinformation by social media bubbles is bad now, wait until everything is curated on an individual level.
