@Elizafox@social.treehouse.systems Copyright and more broadly intellectual property tries to answer a simple seeming question: "How do you handle the economics of something that takes tons of money and/or effort to create once, but is virtually free to reproduce?"
That question definitely needs to be answered. I wouldn't wanna live in a world where the expert in replicating and monetizing things gets everything while the expert at creating the original thing gets absolutely nothing.
