After ~3 years of this, I will never be convinced that AI corporation CEOs do anything for any reason except the most intense personal greed. Explain this to me in those terms and I'll find it convincing.

@guyjantic@infosec.exchange the IPO is undervalued relative to their debts, and the instant they go public the house of cards starts falling. On top of this, too much of the money coming in is from Effective Altruists, (AI Doomsday Cultists) and they will absolutely throw more money at the problem when it's phrased like this.
