@timnitGebru@dair-community.social I once at a conference finally told off someone that was an absolute asshole. Obviously, I only felt safe because I’m senior and have privilege. It triggered an entire UW HR investigation after the guy claimed that I “verbally assaulted” him 🙄. Still worth it though.

@irene@discuss.systems Smh I did say some things to these people but I could have said better things. Yes still totally worth it because if you internalized then you would have harmed yourself more.
