I am very excited to share that NASA has selected 15 open source projects under the Open Source Tools, Frameworks, and Libraries call. This will provide $15M to these projects over the next five years. This was an incredible tough selection process as we had 102 proposals submitted and an incredible high number of very high quality projects. There were more deserving projects than we had funding for. It was my honor to see all the amazing work being done and I hope we can support more projects in the future. @crawfordsm Really nice! I'm curious about NASA JPL Principal investigator: Michael Starch “How To F Prime: Empowering Science Missions Through Documentation and Examples,” three-year award Hope there will be more info in the near future. And maybe there is already. I'll look around 😁
