For now, I find the idea of working with just one of these units amusing (though it hasn't even arrived yet), but I have no use for a whole bunch of them.
However, something tells me that a cluster of these things using Wi-Fi would completely shit up all over the airwaves, whereas with an Ethernet "star" topology, the cost of the switches would likely far exceed the cost of the cluster itself.
Unless, of course, I reinvent the "ring" topology or some sort of cheap bus... :)

But maybe...a cage of cards, with some kind of shared network backplane, and even a shared storage backplane...then each card runs a hyper-specialized set of daemons (like, one's DHCP, one's DNS, etc.), and some single card manages all the rest.... Wait.. Are we re-inventing mainframes? :) (I know not really, but... this thought experiment gets pretty silly pretty fast.)
