@wordstitcher@thecanadian.social I grew up in Alberta as a kid so it’s always had a special place in my heart. Seeing its progression (regression?) into the realm of copycat far-right BS we see south of the border is really disheartening. I continue to encounter a number of folks who left AB for BC because of the political climate there. It’s sad and infuriating all at once.

@soulforgotten@mastodon.social I've lived and worked there too, so I hear you. I don't think the swing to the right is as solid as DS thinks, but they're loud and she's giving them what they want. BC has it's problems, mainly stupidity at the top, but the right is fractured and clearly crazy.
