@Globaltom@mstdn.ca @TheConversationUS@newsie.social In the US, it depends on the state and pharmacy chain, and what the drug is. Many places won’t accept things directly, but may have prepaid envelopes to provide to send things to an approved facility. In my town, the only in person options for most people are a once a year take back day at the police department and a drug disposal dropbox available only at a single one of the area pharmacies.
