    @miss_rodent @pluralistic Repeatedly selling the same thing creates GDP but not value. If a friend and I trade a share worth $1m (based on real-world stuff) back and forth one million times, that would count as generating $1 trillion in GDP. Even though we&amp;#39;d end up back where we started!
