Bridge trolls are out for Fred Wellman, the awesome Dem candidate for Congress in Missouri's 2nd District. His MAGA opponent won by 12 points in 2024, but he just posted an Emerson poll showing him ahead 51 to 46. He's running on affordability and people are listening, because Ann Wagner does not listen to them. #Missouri #midterms

Obviously, #Missouri #Republicans think he and other Dems could win in this "hell freezes over" election. I have been seeing reports of #ICE agent interference here and then on social media; naturally, CNN and CBS aren't going to tell you about it. It might make a difference in some races in red states, but they don't have the guys to shut it all down. @MaryAustinBooks@mstdn.social That Emerson poll is one of four in my MO-02 average, and the other three are all closer to even, so the average sits at D+1.4. My forecast mixes that with the district's past results and calls it a dead heat: Wagner 52 in 100, Wellman 48. #Missouri #Midterms
