  Y'all, I'm talking to stinging insects again. Today on a hike, I sat down at a lovely spot where I pause to enjoy the scenery. As usual, there were ants about. In the past I've had run-ins with literal ants in my pants, and it was very unpleasant for all involved. This time I informed the ants they don't want to explore my shorts, and I poured out a little water to bribe them not to. Now everybody's happy!

Our forebears who bled for that were also scared, and sad they didn't get to live more peacefully. But after every hard won victory, those on the right side of history held their heads high. Those abuses, ICE, the high error rate, the company defying city orders to turn the cameras off, and the fact that the people don't want our tax dollars wasted on this... there's a reason there is so much sympathy for those who cut the cameras down.   I keep seeing reports of city governments in the USA voting to stop using #Flock, ordering the cameras turned off or covered, and the company initially complying but turning the cameras back on later in defiance of city order. And that is one reason I don't have a problem with people taking hacksaws to the damn things. If Flock won't respect the law, they should not expect others to follow the law regarding them. You don't see this stuff on TV, but the anger is off the chart.
