@saltywizard@beige.party There is a #Nurnburg in Pennsylvania, which might come in handy. Update: Originally I claimed Nurnburg to be in Ohio, but actually it is in Pennsylvania. I fixed my error. Thank you, @GeriAQuin@mstdn.social, for the education.

Too bad the USA does not recognize the ICC and USA will also invade The Hague whenever it likes to. The American Service-Members' Protection Act (ASPA), known as the Hague Invasion Act[1] (Title 2 of Pub. L. 107–206 (text) (PDF), H.R. 4775, 116 Stat. 820, enacted August 2, 2002), is a United States federal law described as "a bill to protect United States military personnel and other elected and appointed officials of the United States government against criminal prosecution by an international criminal court to which the United States is not party."[2] ... Repeal attempt In 2022, an attempt to repeal the bill, sponsored by U.S. Representative Ilhan Omar, was introduced but died in Congress in committee; no vote was ever taken.[18] https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/American_Service-Members%27_Protection_Act

@saltywizard@beige.party Yeah, great sentiment but unfortunately neither US military or current or former US presidents are subject to the ICC because they withdrew from the Rome Statute. #ICC #TheHague https://www.jurist.org/commentary/2026/03/force-vetoes-and-sanctions-why-the-icc-cant-touch-a-us-president/

@saltywizard@beige.party I question that. So far, the USA has committed multiple, obvious war crimes. (FWIW, Israel is committing genocide as well...) And not a single hearing or Red Notice has gone out. I'm really surprised.
