As a T1 Diabetic who's unable to use an insulin pump (because there are no #accessible ones available), the possibility of a gene therapy injection once every few years instead of an insulin injection once every couple of hours, is mighty interesting.

@tink Meanwhile, have you conversed with Scott Hanselman? He hosts the Hansel Minutes podcast (https://hanselminutes.com) and works (worked?) for Microsoft. He also does some bio-hacking/hardware-hacking/software-hacking with his insulin pump and might be able to connect you with tech-minded folks who could possibly improve accessibility. @tink Hey, I've got a dim memory of a couple people I play poker with over in the states switching to a pump that they find accessible enough to be a daily driver. Might be controlled via an app, they're both on iOS. Do you want me to ask for details/put you in touch?
