So I got the thing on there in position, more or less. I haven’t hooked the motor to the top support — which I plan to do because, though it’d probably work fine like this, I’d feel better with more attachment points for increased security.
Earlier, I think I mentioned that, as sold, it came with a 5hp Tecumseh gas engine. This motor, being a 3hp electric, will probably outperform the higher-end 8hp model (as per the Rule-of-Three, anyway). It looks overpowered, like somebody stuck a much larger motor on it than intended :smirk:

@KingOfWhiteAmerica if possible: soak pulley and shaft it's stuck to in a 50/50 solution of ATF fluid and acetone...in a container that can handle the solution, of course.
