Hey thanks, it’s been a blast ! I still have yet to run a 240v line out to the back porch - but I have all the materials I need so it’s a matter of drilling the right sized hole through the wall and patching it back up once complete. I just cheesed the top with a tie-down hook; bolt-pinning the motor eye to the old L-bracket by pulling the whole motor assembly up until it was lined up close enough to cram it through both. The positive down-force pressure makes it sit very securely. Belt tension adjustment is by means of raising/lowering the flange nuts under the motor mounting plate - not super convenient but very precise and effective. Since it’s an electric motor with an on-off switch, I don’t really care if it has a belt tensioner lever or a clutch. I’m quite stoked to see what it can do.
