I have learned something from this NASA Artemis II mission: There&#39;s something called a &quot;mile&quot; and they use this as a distance measurement. Wild! (Is this named after Miles O’Brien in Star Trek???)

Holy crap, a "mile" is roughly 5,000 Roman feet. That means that Artemis II is roughly 1,261,610,000 Roman feet from Earth! I have no concept for what that is. Is that with or without sandals???
