I started asking myself some of these questions a while ago, and even more after my failed experience with under-the-desk cable organization. Good food for thought.

@badnetmask at this point very nearly 100% of my prints are toys for my kids, tools for my spouse's quilting hobby, or shims or brackets to mount something to something else it wasn't intended to be mounted to. Ex: nobody is going to sell me brackets to mount my specific lawn tool batteries to the wall, but I found a print that works great. Another: my spouse wanted some specific sizes of a tool that would otherwise be dozens of dollars to buy each.
