@nolan@microsh.art that's very shady. I've noticed a lot more things being delivered by random people in their personal cars over the last couple years. My neighbors are always getting packages delivered like that. Often the drivers end up coming to my house looking to drop the items off

@MLE_online@social.afront.org @nolan@microsh.art yeah, that's popular with the dropshippers, wishdotcom and TEMU etc., turns out it's cheaper for the companies to get folks to subsidize delivery costs with wear and tear on their vehicles while they think the gig economy hustle is getting them ahead, than it is to setup the company's own delivery fleet, or pay for legit shipping a ton of tiny packages through USPS etc.,
