I miss the old Internet... the pure excitement of finding websites by enthusiastic creators motivated by love. And forums where people talked and it was easy to get help. And not being asked about cookies or worrying about seo, or mobile screens, or adverts, trackers, bad actors, etc. And dont get me started on #socialmedia. Sigh. It was fun back then. What went wrong? #Internet #simpleweb

@maxelcat Let's not forget that the cookie question isn't the fault of the legislation. If the legislation didn't exist we'd never know about our local newspaper's "1,784 trusted partners".
