I have just learned a woman on the Maori electoral roll checked her details overnight and found she was registered as living in a place a long way from where she actually lives. This news caused one of the people I live with to check their status. They have been dropped off the roll entirely which is incredible given she voted in the last election and has not moved premises since. Check your enrolment status, folk! https://enrol. vote. Heard from a friend who checked because of this alert. They have one family member incorrectly enrolled.

@thrashcardiom@mastodon.nz I understand some issues where people seem to be completely missing from the roll have been because it's very sensitive to the *exact* details. (https://vote.nz/enrolling/enrol-or-update/troubleshooting-your-enrolment lists some other possibilities.) Other issues do seem ...weird, shall we say. Always worth checking early and often anyway.
