Check that you are Enrolled to Vote! It's extra important this year given NACTNZ's changes to the Voting system which have removed being able to register and vote on the election day AND removing the right to enrol and vote on the same day. You MUST be enrolled to vote 13 days prior to Election Day. The cut off this year is 25 October 2026. After midnight on that day you will not be able to enrol to vote. You will not be able to vote in this year's general election. Enrol Here:...

I suggested the #Mashup part of the theme and completely missed the night! Here's one of my favourites: Grammatik vs. The Beatles. Don't Let Me Down. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zK71lTctqTM #MusicMusiciansAndMashups #JukeboxFridayNight

This "opt out" shit really pisses me off. "We’re updating how GitHub uses data to improve AI-powered coding tools. From April 24 onward, your interactions with GitHub Copilot—including inputs, outputs, code snippets, and associated context—may be used to train and enhance AI models unless you opt out. " #Microsoft #Microslop #AI #Github

I have just learned a woman on the Maori electoral roll checked her details overnight and found she was registered as living in a place a long way from where she actually lives. This news caused one of the people I live with to check their status. They have been dropped off the roll entirely which is incredible given she voted in the last election and has not moved premises since. Check your enrolment status, folk! https://enrol. vote.
