@jonny sums up in one clause how I feel about trying to use AI “tools” to “create.”
They feel so fast and so efficient. It sucks you into thinking that they are producing something. Then you spend the next hour working with the tool, trying to get it right, but you never get there.
Finally you throw the whole thing in the dust bin and turn to a different task. And you never get anywhere.
That’s the definition of vibe coding.

@sfoskett @jonny the definition of my Monday evening trying to achieve something with Claude. It's really like a gambling machine: gets you hooked, does 80% well, then you spend hours fixing stuff over stuff and, if not careful, implementing tweak over tweak, sometimes without any meaning.
