The world really wants me to start drinking coffee this week and is not taking no for an answer.
After having my hot chocolate swapped for a Starbucks coffee at the airport, I made the mistake of asking for black tea with my breakfast on the plane.
Instead of a cup of uncontaminated hot water and a tea bag I got something poured out of a coffee carafe that had clearly been used for coffee in the recent past.
Having non-consensually tried both in the past 24 hours I'll take an unexpected mouthful of ~95% tea / 5% coffee over one of straight coffee. Still undrinkable, but not bad enough I can still taste it after rinsing my mouth out twice.

@azonenberg@ioc.exchange wow, as a coffee lover (it is solidly 10% of my life happiness) I am terribly sorry for your negative experiences with coffee. It should never be nonconsensual, for starters. If I thought I was drinking a hot cocoa and got coffee instead, that would not be a good experience. And the tea-contaminated-with-coffee sounds pretty terrible as well -- worse to me, but I can see why it was less terrible to you. If you ever decide to drink coffee on purpose, I hope it is a much better experience, and I hope you do not have any further surprise encounters with coffee.
