I really miss Craigslist. I know it’s a thing still but it doesn’t really seem to be used.
I almost always had a good experience listing things on Craigslist as well as buying things. Such a great community. Everyone seemed fair and reasonable.
The de facto standard now is Facebook marketplace and it’s so terrible. You just get a million automated messages asking “is this still available?” And then then when you reply nothing. And people making completely dumb and unreasonable counter offers.

@tommertron@masto.yttrx.com I’ve never used fb marketplace. I hate dealing with lowballers and no shows, so I tend to just give everything away rather than dealing with people. When I lived in Toronto Craigslist was really great. I offloaded a bunch of furniture to people and it all worked pretty well.
