Haha, just saw a response from a couple of days ago to a post from nearly a year ago that was taking what I said SO literally whilst also taking the worst possible reading of what I meant that I thought it had to be a joke right through to the end, when I went, “oh”.
I keep defending Mastodon from the overly literal accusations, but Christ some of you make it hard 😂

Me replying to someone telling me they’d used the same argument that day “I swear we’re all living the same life!” Them “We are absolutely not living the same life we all have things that happen to us at different points and different locations and we all learn in different ways. We are not sheep!” Wow, okay.
