Anyone with a #cheatsheet for the #fediverse? We are looking for #tutorials or guides to help cultural organizations planning their social media presence on the fediverse. :) For example: an organization has a social media manager and wants to switch from corporate social media to decentralized ones. How to restructure such workflows in the fediverse? Mastodon or pixefed? Both accounts? Are there some examples of best practices? #fediask #socialmediamanager #federated #publicrelations #pr

  • @servus there is @FediTips with their web site https://fedi.tips/ and in particular their page for organizations: https://fedi.tips/tips-for-organisations-on-mastodon-and-the-fediverse/

  • @servus Would say it depends more on what the main focus of the content should be. If it's mostly on pictures than use Pixelfed. Else Mastodon (or another microblogging software like Sharkey) as those can more easily mix different types. For short form videos can that organisation also look at @loops.

@servus I've also been doing a deeper dive since finding mastodon. Should look at this event coming up.https://friendi.ca/2026/01/16/friendica-at-fosdem-2026/

@servus I applied to AMRO with a talk exactly about that 😉 I think we could work on something written and nicely designed with @xpub, though! I also stuble on interesting resources and zines all the time but I keep forgetting to collect them
