While exploring in my local woodland this morning I discovered something I have never seen here before: Hair Ice fungus.
It's really delicate and beautiful, and quite rare as it requires very specific conditions in which to form.

@stevenlawson@photog.social That reminds me of the winter of 2010, when we had frost conditions here in Galloway (55°N, 4°W) that I have never before or since seen.
