  Visited Kirkcudbright car boot sale this morning and accidentally bought some art materials. Secondhand and hardly used, a bargain! Today's sketch was trying out a set of Derwent Graphitint paint pans, a new one for me. Very muted colours and nice transparency.

  A very quick sketch this evening. I had a round trip to Edinburgh hospital as a telephone appointment for my partner turned into “we need to see this”. Three hour journey to get there, but once there all looks ok from the doctor, another three hours home, with a bit of snow driving thrown in.
