I missed the local fairground plant sale AND the county extension office plant sale because these organizations only post on facebook. The wife follows these organizations and never saw anything until the day after the events. Worthless site.

@badneighbor Our local government etc. also posts mostly on Facebook. Same thing: we find out after the events. We do have a local paper...who reports (on their website and Facebook) on current happenings about an hour before they happen. And those show in your Facebook feed a few days later. I miss actual newspapers
