@saraislet @risottobias "hmmm, doesn't taste exploited. let's give this one more responsibilities!"

@saraislet ostentatious sniffing is ok though, right?

@saraislet The first sentence of the next paragraph reiterates it… hm, maybe it's a book for non-lickers, non-sniffers, non-tasters?

@saraislet HR would have to employ an extra person just for all the licking cases.

@saraislet I would tell you to stop hate-reading Andy Grove, but I have to admit he did have an unfortunately outsize impact on management practices and thus is relevant to your work

@saraislet "Do not lick your employees" is hohnestly a good allegory for "don't surveil your employees" and "don't treat active listening as a manager as an excuse to demand neurotypical-compatible performances from your employees."

@saraislet where are employees placed on the "can I lick it?"-periodic table?

@saraislet I think the text could get some _more_ italic words to make it sound even more offensive towards the reader.

@saraislet I don’t know what this book is, but it looks vaguely abusive from this page. Separately, it would certainly be interesting if someone tried to taste, smell, or touch me to determine whether or not I had internalized their message! That’s a one way ticket to an unpleasant situation.
