Dang it. Successfully updated my GeForce RTX 270 graphics card driver, but Ultimate Admiral: Age of Sail still cranks up my laptop's fans to the max. Not good.
Any other suggestions? Questions? Keep in mind I'm basically a beginner when it comes to dealing with hardware, so if you can help, step-by-step clarity is appreciated.

@qwyrdo I'm not an expert either, but I wonder is there any chance that a fan itself is glitching? Was it definitely properly cool before the original crash, or could the crash have been caused by the first episode of overheating?
