I really don't get the whole idea of the cookie popups on websites.
I mean, everyone always chooses for: essential cookies only? I do, anyway.
Some sites even say: "Don't you want a functional site?", to which I always silently reply: "Knowing that everyone disables all optional cookies anyway, don't you want (to build) to have a functional site?"
I don't care all that much if your site is broken, it's your site, your choice.

@madengineering @janneke "This site works better on mobile app" Sure, and who's to blame for that huh?

@madengineering Sure, but surely nobody (well, hardly anybody) is so stupid as to allow that?

@janneke browsers really need a "delete all cookies created by this site as soon as I leave it" setting

@janneke I've been noticing that lately mobile apps are also showing cookie popups. That makes even less sense.

@janneke > I mean, everyone always chooses for: essential cookies only? I do, anyway. Me too, but I occasionally get to watch other people's behavior when surfing the internet and think there are plenty of people who just click "agree/accept all" by default.
