The fundamental question remains: Why does Apple expect Mac users to turn on “Reduce transparency” under System Settings › Accessibility › Display in order to avoid THIS? In what computing universe is THIS desirable? Who out there is so in love with transparency that they are willing to put up with THIS? Still waiting for a sensible answer.

    @betalogue@toot.community The thing is… there are no accessibility settings that you can turn on that will avoid this. The screenshots are with Reduce transparency and Increase contrast turned on, respectively. Search field? Equally gross and transparent.
