"Stuff's borked. For more info, check Discord."
No.
I may have a Discord account, but I am being *very* selective about the servers I join, and in most cases it's to be a member of a community.
That is what Discord is for:
Communities.
It is not a Wiki.
It is not a status page.
It is not a repository.
It is not your website.
It is not a bug tracker or ticket system.
It is not an RSS feed.
It is not a blog.
Don't use it for any of those things.

@Bright5park plus, Discord is also trying to bork itself

@Bright5park I have this radical idea. It's called a website.

Re threaded and boosted post, while some may tell us to stick to mailing lists and other legacy methods, when Yahoo!Groups went under without much time or recourse, that sours me on that solution too. That said, I don't actually have any solutions in mind, as having your own email server is getting harder and harder to pull off nowadays.
