One concern about AI is the kind of people that it attracts There has always been people who are more interested in appearances than reality People that don't really care about what they are doing. They don't want to make the best thing or do something well. They just want to be seen as important, successful or powerful Now AI comes along and it's literally a box that makes things that those people can claim ownership of

Happy birthday to me My plan for today is to get lost I&#39;m going to take a bus downtown, a train to the NW and then get on a random bus Then I will get off the bus somewhere and make my way back home I probably won&#39;t make myself walk all the way home. My plan is to try to get back downtown but I might be happy with finding the train line again depending on how long that takes

Regarding that smashed laptop I found It was very brutally ripped apart and looked to be missing the main board and hard drive. It did have a slimline optical drive so I don&#39;t think it was very new. Someone stole a laptop to scrounge RAM?

Is it better for dirty dishes to be piling up because the dishwasher needs to be emptied or because it just needs to be filled? On the one hand, the dishwasher needing to be emptied means that there are new clean dishes available and that&#39;s good On the other, it means you have to do two things when you are being lazy instead of just one

So the company is moving towards spec driven AI development. You help the AI build requirements and a task list and then tell it to get working while you go have tea The workflow that we are trying is, buid spec with AI, put out a code review with the specs to get feedback, and then when they are approved you start the work I am concerned about how easily people are approving specs that are clearly wrong
