Is it better for dirty dishes to be piling up because the dishwasher needs to be emptied or because it just needs to be filled? On the one hand, the dishwasher needing to be emptied means that there are new clean dishes available and that's good On the other, it means you have to do two things when you are being lazy instead of just one
