FYI, for those who are (IMHO rightfully) concerned about Canonical&#39;s announcement of adding AI bollocks to #Ubuntu: 1. It won&#39;t be added until 26.10 at the earliest 2. It will be strictly Opt-In, and only installed when desired 3. It will be served as Snaps, so easily removable once installed 4. I love it when it&#39;s a normal amount of warm outside. Clothes dry quickly outside, you are nice and warm in the sun, can read a nice book, and while nothing stops you from enjoying BBQ-season food off-season, it still feels right to sit outside and enjoy some bratwurst paired with pasta- or potato salad, or some corn on the cob plus baguette breadrolls with herb butter.

Just noticed by chance that my old smartwatch is now supported to some degree by AsteroidOS, and I looked all over for it. Probably took me a good hour or so. ...I think I may have thrown it out at some point, as I no longer used it, and - if that vague memory-shaped thing in my head is truthful - may have had trouble getting it to charge the last time I used it. Dang.

...oh, goodie. HW-accelerated Transcoding in Jellyfin broke again. 😓 At least someone else seems to have a similiar problem on a very similiar setup. https://github.com/jellyfin/jellyfin/issues/15613 With any luck, they will find a solution that also helps me, because unless I get a brainwave, I got nuffin&#39;. Logs say nothing that helps me, troubleshooting steps indicate that stuff *ought to* work. Yet, it does not. :WTF_Cat:

Always remember to read the *whole* document before signing it, folks. Not just the header. Not just the first paragraph. Especially if it&#39;s about future plans for a company you are financially supporting. And also, losing your temper and shouting in a courtroom doesn&#39;t help your case either.
