@Wally@thepit.social I remember thinking during history classes "wow how did the Weimar Republic turn into the Nazi dictatorship in like 15 years?" I think I get it now... 15 years, in hindsight, on the pages of a history book feels like the blink of an eye. While you're living it, it feels forever and so many little things fall into place piece by piece, while a quarter of your adult life passes by, until you turn around and ask yourself:"wait, what happened? How the fuck did we get here?"
