"How many watering cans full of water per day do I have to carry down the garden to keep the frog pond topped up whilst there's a hosepipe ban" is not a piece of arithmetic I've ever had to do before.

"In past decade"? - this is as close as the BBC can get to saying "yet another #brexshit benefit". (Though to be fair they do actually mention Covid this time.) https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c20q07w3gl9o

RE: https://mastodon.scot/@BenartyComputer/116522316335913051 *Almost* all the excuses for not voting (only almost, because of course there are real reasons as well), including the ones in that cartoon, are lies, with the real reason being "I can't be arsed to get myself down to the polling station".

An entire article on people not going to restaurants any more, and not a single mention of the reason I don't (covid). https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c0ljpxek5w2o

@xankarn If you go on a Myers-Briggs course (other flavours of psychobabble are available) you will be taught that only some people use things like "facts" and "truth" as inputs to their decision making processes. Other people simply consider these things as irrelevant to their lives. Fail to recognise this and you lose elections.
