I don't always agree with Cory Doctorow, but sometimes his perspective is so deliciously whole in how he sees problems, their causes, and their potential futures, that I can't help but applaud the guy.

@neatchee@urusai.social Same re: how I feel about Cory and The Guardian. Same as in my other major issue with genAI in the context of productivity and worker aid, whether it is capable of making less than 7 fingers or not. (Side issues re: theft, environmental damage, non consensual data harvesting; and people using genAI for personal conversations are their own side issues)
