being called an idiot for not having a "coherent and actionable" plan to stop AI here is our coherent and actionable plan for stopping AI: the people who work at these slop companies who agree with us that it should be stopped should say, as if in union, "i refuse to work on this technology" instead of privately going "i wish i could, and i would do it, but nobody can put together a plan, and if we don't make good AI, then bad AI will ruin everything forever"

@atax1a@infosec.exchange all that aside, someone criticizing the status quo doesn't need to have a plan for fixing the status quo like, if I'm calling someone on their shit, that doesn't mean I'm also taking them on as a project. I just want them to not be shit.

As always, we're back to it being the responsibility of the outsider in multiple intersecting ethnic/cultural/gender/identity minority groups, with no position of authority in the system, to fix everything that's wrong with the system for the benefit of everyone who is an insider. But don't forget, you have to do it without ever offending anyone in authority!
