The ERG are funded from MPs expenses, I think £2000 each member! The taxes that we pay! They have no accountability, they hide their membership, they hide what they discuss & push for! Why are we funding a crime syndicate? #BrexitBrokeBritain

@snb19692@mastodon.social I agree, Steve. The use of tax payers money for such an unrepresentative and unelected group is totally unacceptable. Still, they'll pay the price soon enough. We'll have the bastards out! #GeneralElectionNow

@snb19692@mastodon.social Much like 55 Tufton St ERG and other groups hide behind 'Think Tanks' or 'Charity Status' while using public money to undermine democracy and replace it with an agenda that allows them power without responsibility or consequences. MP's activities should be open source, we pay them to represent us, not to betray our trust. If topics can't be discussed openly then they should not be discussed .outside national security We need transparency in Government,

@snb19692@mastodon.social I fear that we fund numerous such syndicates in the House of Commons. There is, though, something particularly irksome about the ERG.
