  I listened to yesterday’s UK #primeminister question time this warning and am growing increasingly weary of the ongoing claim previously by #borisjohnson and now parroted by #RishiSunak about the very low level of unemployment in the uk.It is, of course, a good thing that unemployment is low.   Reading this am about the relative failure of the UK’s supposedly historic trade deal with Japan following #brexit .There are probably a complex range of reasons but my simple mind tells me that a primary reason is that it’s thousands of miles to me unlike the #eu who are our neighbours and natural trading partners! Maybe I’m too simplistic……#RejoinEU

  The seeming hypocrisy of the #ukgoverment has reached new levels with agreement given to #coalmining in #cumbria. How can #RishiSunak talk about his concerns for his children’s future in a leadership campaign and then allow a project which will lead to the UK exporting coal to nations with even less regard for #environmentalresponsibility? #Rishi et al - #onshorewindfarms will create more jobs and #sustainable power. #Getyouracttogether

  The right wing press in the uk are celebrating #RishiSuunak saying that he won’t back down to #strikers. Wouldn’t he gain more respect if he acknowledged that #nurses in the #NHS whom we applauded and celebrated during #Covid #lockdowns have been underpaid for years; and then agreed a sensible pay structure for the future?
