aaand it's not starting. sigh. I can't tell if it's because it's second hand and broken or some bad setting or because of SMA just being shit. welp guess I need to hunt for another inverter..
any suggestions? it's 2 250-330v strings (2x 3 SolarFrontier 165W panels with 110v OC voltage) so micro inverters won't work, I'm thinking maybe Solis Mini 1000 4G / 1.0k S6, or a GroWatt MIC 1000TL-X or something but unsure, I don't want to spend too much either because they're old shitty panels anyway

I've attempted to reset it, but there's no way to do it; even if I'd somehow connect to it, SMA seems to lock these with a code, that I don't have. Welp, guess this SMA inverter is a piece of e-waste then :/ I think I'm going to buy a Growatt MIC 1000X instead, as far as I can tell it's a good option with also good offline support, and I should be able to connect the two strings with a Y cable to it (the panels are safe up to 7A backfeeding, which shouldn't happen, but even if, it's 2A max).

@anthropy@mastodon.derg.nz any way to factory reset it?
