I've attempted to reset it, but there's no way to do it; even if I'd somehow connect to it, SMA seems to lock these with a code, that I don't have. Welp, guess this SMA inverter is a piece of e-waste then :/
I think I'm going to buy a Growatt MIC 1000X instead, as far as I can tell it's a good option with also good offline support, and I should be able to connect the two strings with a Y cable to it (the panels are safe up to 7A backfeeding, which shouldn't happen, but even if, it's 2A max).

... it randomly started to work. okay, that's good I guess? unsure what limits it, it seems like it requires a lot of power to start working, perhaps the previous owner set a high starting voltage (it can work from 200v up but it seems to require 300v), which is meh because I miss out on a bunch of power that way, I could've had way more by now. hm, unsure if I should cancel that Growatt order, I mean I guess this works but the efficiency isn't great like this
