Hail Freya, it's Friday! Today's #FridayPaganPoll:
Most pagans believe in some kind of reincarnation, but there are many variations of it. The classic kind that most people know is "whole soul" reincarnation, where the soul is reincarnated one-to-one, and may or may not have memories of the previous incarnation.
There is also what I'll call "partial soul," where only some pieces move on and there is no retention of whole memories.
Which one most closely matches your beliefs on reincarnation?
(This is obviously an extremely nuanced topic, so detailed comments are welcome and appreciated!)

@Cat_LeFey@pagan.plus Ah, I missed this one. My view is unconventional, but I believe in multi-part souls---in itself not unusual, both Kemeticism and Taoism, my major influences, have that idea, but my particular odd UPG is that the pieces are also holographic, with each piece having enough information to recreate the whole, and thus one may experience more than one afterlife, some reincarnated, some not. How many parts, I'm not entirely sure. It would be completely logical to me, though a little overwhelming, to consider that every cell of the body has one, but certainly there are many different aspects to a self.
