The evaluation documented the gap. It recommended more support, not less. The school ignored its own findings. When I asked to be moved to the support track, they refused.
They saw academics and compliance. They didn't see that I was drowning.

My mom didn't have a framework for what was happening. She thought I wasn't trying. I thought I was morally failing. We fought about initiative and fear for 16 years because no one ever told us: this is neurological disability, not laziness.
