Take that thing into a lab, give it unfettered Internet access and watch every packet that shows up on a span port for a week or two.
If you can't explain every freaking one of them, presume it's compromised.

@johntimaeus@infosec.exchange It's a no-brainer. At least for the U.S. I hope / think DoD acquisitions regs have this covered, after a few mishaps several years back. Surprising that the Brits didn't.
