Adding MLS/e2ee support to Loops will require some significant client side work, which is fine, but in the short term I will add a warning modal when authoring new Direct Messages or on the first conversation view, warning that communications are not encrypted and not to share any sensitive details through this channel.
@ariadne@social.treehouse.systems do you have any short term suggestions on how to improve this before MLS is shipped?

@dansup@mastodon.social @ariadne@social.treehouse.systems if I may drop my 2 cents here: I find Matrix approach very transparent and reminding. They permanently display the "unlocked" icon with an info text in the input field that this message is unencrypted.
